For everyone that is familiar with my Gradient Pixels website, you may notice some minor...well, major changes with my site. I thought it was time to go a slight different direction while maintaining theme and template design for everyone to download and enjoy! So what are these changes?
Back to the Original Concept
Originally, the concept was to focus primarily on the Joomla cms platform, but then an interesting thing happened...I ended up developing WordPress themes despite the fact that I personally feel that Joomla is a much better cms for anything more than just a blog. Granted, WordPress is a powerful blogging platform, but rightly so because it was developed to be that and continues to be very popular.
However, from this point on, my objective is to start bringing in more Joomla content and templates into Gradient Pixels - which was the original concept at the beginning.
Key Changes for GP
To introduce what changes I have and will be implementing, I've written out some of the key changes that come with Gradient Pixels version 2.0.
- A complete redesign for gradientpixels.ca
- New logo
- Cleaner design throughout the website
- I made things easier to find
- No more confusion with multiple Support Memberships I had previously, now it's simple with just one (a FULL YEAR!)
- Themes and Templates are now sold and downloaded from this site
- All support is now from this site and with a better organized setup
- A new Knowledge Base system for quick answers to common questions
- A new Members home page with a cleaner layout and quick direct links to support
- Better theme and template showcase display
- Theme prices are even more competive
- Watch for more "how to" tutorials coming
- ...and much more!
In addition to the above changes I've made, there are also a few ideas that I am considering, but will see how things go over the short-term. I may add a support forum to allow everyone to share and help each other with solutions to any possible issues that people may experience. I am also giving more thought to video tutorials for my themes and templates.
Of course, any feedback of ideas that you may want to see added, changed, or even removed will help make gradientpixels.ca even better. So feel free to make comments below or contact me directly from the Contact page.
