welcome-picture Welcome! My name is André and I would like to introduce you to Gradient Pixels which is dedicated to the creative development of what I call “Real World” design concepts. I focus primarily on the award winning Joomla cms, as well, the ever popular blogging platform called WordPress. Although both offer advantages and disadvantages, my goal is to help you discover what works for you.

When designing, my philosophy is to create professional, clean, simplistic, and streamlined coded themes. This assures a better experience for the end-user without having to deal with bloated websites containing excessive scripts and built-in plugins. I strongly believe keeping a theme simple because it allows greater flexibility by giving you more control over what best suits your needs – choosing your own plugins. One particular advantage of choosing your own is to help prevent potential conflicts between scripts and other compatibility issues that might occur with third party products.

Over time, you will see more articles on "How to" and "Tips & Tricks" being added to this website as I give you an online stage for learning how to design and manage your very own website or blog. During the next couple of months, I will focus 5 days per week with theme design while spending 2 days (at least) writing articles and tutorials, and then as time goes on, I will write more on a regular basis.
